With today’s technology, there is no reason for Texans not to have easy access to all levels of government expenditures as well as access to tax revenues received from all sources.

We have computer technology which makes accurate information available to all Texans who want it. Computer technology can allow Texans to view employment contracts for any high government positions and government contracts with vendors.

Comptroller Susan Combs has set a precedent that transparency of expenditures on the state level can be done. It can be done on all levels of government through the use of the internet website.

On the state level and other levels of government, there can be transparency of tax revenues. Texans are now wanting transparency on both sides of the ledger.

I will help make this possible in the upcoming legislature.
